The car was faded from sitting under his carport so he took it to a friend of mine that has a professional paint and body shop and had the car painted back the original color, all the trim has been redone including the bed top moldings. The car has never been wrecked, had anything hauled in the bed, nor has been smoked in. No rust ever, everything works except the clock. I dont think there are many left out there as nice as this car.

Modern performance radial tires these photos really do not do this awesome show quality ranchero justice acg is so proud to offer this incredible fully restored and slightly modified ranchero. Redone in the original colors with all new glass, refurbished trim, rechromed bumpers, and all new interior. It is a stunning example of one of the coolest fifties cars offered by ford. I took the photos but do not think they do this beauty justice. The color combination is fabulous. It was nice and solid to start with so they did not remove the body from the frame. Every nut and bolt was refurbished or replaced as needed. Since the crew at acg did the restoration in house they took the liberty to make some very tasteful and useful upgrades. While it was apart they took the original dash and built in a cd radio. Then a terrific idea was brought to reality with custom cut factory looking ac vents for the vintage air system. It was tastefully done and looks like it should have been like that from the factory! A true form meets function addition. A complete brand new top to bottom interior was custom stitched and installed with new carpet and new headliner. A new tilt steering column was added with an original steering wheel. While attacking the chassis wilwood high performance power front disc brakes replaced the old drum set up. Also a modern borgeson power steering unit was added. They elected to add thunderbird wire wheels with radial tires for retro looks but better handling. The body was left totally stock with all the trim and chrome accents intact. The hard to find and replace grille is perfect! The bed is as nice as the rest of the car. They did not go overboard as to wind up with a trailer queen. They want a great car that drives every bit as good as it looks. This ranchero is that kind of car. Ready for the open road or the autorama. Air Conditioning

It has been a very long time since we have seen one with a factory installed 429 4v v8. This motor has lots of power and torque. The previous owner stated that it was certified to have 433 horsepower on the dyno but did not provide us with the documents to prove it. It pulls hard and shifts smooth through the c6 automatic transmission. It sounds nasty through the headers and turbo mufflers. All of the mechanical aspects have been refurbished. It has factory ac but it is not working at this time. The simulated squire wood accents are immaculate and really look terrific on this particular ranchero. The interior is basically original and stock with the exception of an updated stereo and custom steering wheel. The original jack and a full size spare are included, sitting behind the seat. This hot rod ranchero is a very interesting collectible car/truck that anyone would be proud to own. It tuns heads and starts lots of conversations for sure. This fine classic ranchero is for sale here locally so acg reserves the right to end this listing early. For sale as-is and mileage exempt with no warranty offered or implied.
