This car was garage kept and well maintained. It was recently purchased at an estate sale and put back on the road(2015). A deep, shiny, "metallic emerald green" gives this car its unique, sporty look. The paint is in fantastic condition. The undercoating is in great shape. No rust has been discovered on this car!! The inside is wrapped with tan leather, brown carpet, and a black dash, which makes the interior very comfortable and stylish. The tan leather seats are in great shape with no wrinkling, cracking or splits. Everything is in great condition and has very little wear. The factory 6-cyliner engine and transmission are sound and function as they should. The motor has no leaks or smoke and runs like new. The transmission shifts very smoothly. This 260 was only in production for one year and it is very rare to find one in this pristine condition. The z car is a simple, classic that is highly desired and appreciating by the day. Newer tailpipe, clutch slave cylinder and brake master cylinder. Older repaint and the only rust i have found is a little surface bubbling next to the windshield trim, pictured. Underneath is solid as shown in pics. Very presentable driver quality paint job. Seats and door panels appear to have been recovered at some time and look nice. Tires have good tread but have some age on them - the winning bidder has the option to either have a new set of tires (picked and paid for by seller) on the original mag wheels (pictured) or to keep the konig wheels which are on the car in the pictures. These cost over $400 each new. All glass is in good shape. An extra set of t-tops are included. Starts, shifts and runs good, but could probably use a quick tune-up and brakes at some point in the future.

Original solex mikuni 44mm carbs with 37mm chokes on ported manifold. Race prepped nissan middle close transmission. Nissan 4. 63:1 lsd differential with clutch shimmed tight for autocross and track use. Oversized radiator core (this vehicle will not overheat). Complete competition suspension, old style nissan comp springs, koni shocks, custom rear panhard bar. Memory tach, mechanical oil pressure and temperature gauges. Seats have 5 point harnesses.

(good shape) new ujoints in all needed area new suspension bushings new interior purchased but nor installed new foam for the seats i have an original set of hub caps for the car also a few new parts go with the car. License plate light original radio with new face plate. (i will pay for radio to be fixed with new electronics) new heater control face plate new aftermarket power antenna. It was a california car. Interior has been 99% removed for the new already purchased, interior to be installed new front kick panels with custom speakers to be installed.

This great looking datsun 240z has been with us for over 25 years. At one point almost every wearing part has been replaced. This car starts great and drives better. I am able to drive it daily and would take it on a road trip with no hesitation. The car is actually a 1970 1/2 based on the functional flow thru vents on the b pillar.
