1966 buick riviera gs. This is a two owner car with 15,548original miles. It hasa personal log book from the day of purchase. Miles are documented. This car wasa proud possession to both of its owners who happened to be good friends. Thecar has been stored inside all of its life. The interior is remarkable that at50 years old is flawless. Its a time capsule to drive down the road. The 425 nail headstarts right up and is a little cold blooded but as it warms up is smooth andstrong. The ac comes on but needs a charge to circulate properly. The tires werereplaced in 2010. All the lights and gauges are working properly. The leftresonator has been replaced with exhaust pipe. The right on is there but has arattle at times. We were to believe it was original paint . I wasn't sureso i had a friend look at it. He confirmed that it has been repainted but notedthat it was done correctly and disassembled when done. The boxes in the trunkcontain the original parts that they were replaced with. Front seatbelts have been washed and are soft to the touch. Buckles on the front seats have been powder coated black for durability to resist scratching and long lasting good looks. Rear seat is in good condition. Door panels are driver condition (see pics ) a/c and int fan do not work. Driver condition original buick floor mats. Carpet could use replacing. This is a great driver condition car to go to local cruise ins or have a fun weekend out. Without question it gets a lot of attention from people of every walk of life. New carpet new headliner dashboard shelf new upholstery on the seats dynamat insulation on the floor new radiator new wiring new brake lines new fuel lines rebuilt master cylinder new carburetor shaved firewall new paint new rims and tires . Outside trim bumpers and grill powder coated black inside trim also powdercoated black the car looks great sounds great has new exhaust has already been wired for a sound system i will include a sound system with the full price offer it also comes with a front back side to side full airride bolt on kit which shock relocators for the front these are a few things that still need to be finished as far as drivetrain that's already all done except for the brakes the brakes need to be bled they don't stop well right now but they have been gone through the car sits low believe cut or heat it the springs so the air ride kit that i have still needs to be installed interior still need a couple of things put on and maybe i'll get that done before the car sales. Front windows roll up and down but i did not install the wiring for that yet so that needs to be done in the back windows.

Never parked outside. The engine is in great shape and this car runs remarkably well. Feels like it did 50 years ago. Still has all the muscle and rugged good looks! Amazing how many heads turn and how many thumbs up this baby still gets. A real american classic! Body: 13 minor blemishes. A bit of bondo on the right rear panel. A tiny fender blemish on the right front panel. Chrome trimming in grill is cracked. It has bumped and scraped the entrance to the garage, but has never been in an accident. Paint: the 13 blemishes are small chips in the paint. This car is 50 years old and was repainted in the 1980s.

The car spent its life in a high desert area with no rust when the build was started. Rare car that is difficult to find. Considered a bubble top car of the era 60 buicks have become very desirable and sot after along with pontiacs and chevrolets. Please read on for more particulars of the car: body/paint: the body was stripped to bare metal with no patch panels used. The steel is all original to the car. False firewall custom built. Other than emblems and the door handles shaved the body is all original. Multiple coats of primer blocked to a very straight and flat surface. The paint is three tone base clear coat using sherman williams. Tangerine candy with copper and champagne. Blends well and shows differently depending on the light. New centech wiring harness throughout. Interior: the interior is custom using high grade vinyl with wrapped dash. Bucket seats are 64 impala with custom console housing critical gauges, ac controls and electric front windows. Rear windows are crank. Pioneer single cd player with 4 speakers and amp. Trunk is custom finished to match interior. Vintage air, ps, pb and pw/front only. Running gear: 75 buick 455 rebuilt as stock using eldelbrock fi intake with aftermarket injected port holley set up including the computer. New efi gas tank with pump in tank. New 75 buick hd brass radiator. Rebuilt thd 400 switch pitch 3 speed transmission out of the same 75 buick. Ford 9 inch with hiway gears/posi. Suspension: front clip is 75 buick welded into the 60 frame. The original frame is rust free and in excellent condition. Front suspension restored, spring ball joints and tie rods. Rear suspension is 4 bar triangulated with coil springs. New shocks all the way around. Buick front and ford rear. Exhaust: new exhaust with cross over and stock style mufflers. Bright work: front and rear bumpers restored and chromed. All stainless is polished with some pieces as original in very good condition. A few interior items have slight pitting, but very presentable. Glass: all glass replaced except rear window that is in excellent condition. Wheels/tires: eagle wheels 8 and 10 inch with bfgs all the way around with lots of rubber. What doesn't work: ac, horn and clock. The ac is 134, but has a leak. I was told it had been painted its orig verde green in the mid 90s. The block has the lx stamp as shown in the picture. I am not sure if motor has ever been rebuilt. Orig sold in florida and owner then moved to nc. Things i have done since i purchased the car rebuilt brakes, rebuilt carbs, new alt, a good cleaning. The car does run and drive. Engine seems very strong but will need tuning. The biggest problem with car is it does have electrical issues that need attention. Some of the windows dont work, power seat doesnt work. Air cond and heater need attention. I am a ford guy and have always loved these gran sports.

Body is rust-free, bondo-free. Starts easily, no smoke. Has outstanding chrome, better than factory paint excepting three very small 'spots'. Issues: needs heater core- no leak, but it is bypassed. Power seat (driver's) not working, driver pwr window button intermittent (i had new window motor installed ). Has guidematic headlamp control (never tried using. ), cold factory a/c, great sounding buick wonderbar radio with power antenna ( receives fm also !), tinted glass (top tint windshield- not a scratch! New from previous owner). This car drives and handles wonderfully- goes down the highway like the wind. I part with it with hope that it goes to another good home ! I purchased it from an estate sale three years ago—the owner had passed away, and it was in storage. I drove it from pennsylvania to florida, no issues. Work i have completed in the last three years: new battery, new alternator, all new hoses (including bypass hose), new wipers, new radiator, new water pump, new valve covers, all new front seat covers and buns, new carpet, new floor mats, 4 new tires, new custom radio (am/fm/aux jack) designed to look like the original (have original am as well). 127,687 miles. I’ve only put 3,665 miles on it in the last three years. Getting ready to move to colorado, not a car for their weather, so i don’t want to take it. I drive it 5-6 times a month to work and around town, gets an average of 15 mpg with 93 octane. I purchased brand new headers, never got around to putting them on (see pic in box). Also have spare parts from my dad’s 69 buick gs california: chrome, emblems, original center caps from buick rallye wheels, etc. Headers and extra parts come with the car. AM/FM
